Compass Records is issuing a special deluxe edition of Mike Barnett's 2019 GRAMMY-nominated album, PORTRAITS IN FIDDLES, which features five additional unreleased tracks with collaborators, heroes and contemporaries such as Stuart Duncan, David Grisman, Jesse McReynolds, Tim O'Brien, Noam Pikelny, Tony Trischka and more. In his own words: "It was such a joy to work on this project and celebrate some of my biggest musical inspirations, heroes, and mentors. During most of the recording sessions, we recorded one more tune that didn't end up on the record because it would've made for an even more lengthy project. I'm excited to share five more unreleased portraits with you!"
