Punk/Rock that goes to 11! Well be the first to admit that we tip our hat in many directions when it comes to our style. Our influences range from Hot Water Music and Samiam to The Ramones and Motorhead. The underlying theme in what we are all about is just straight up loud Rock and Roll and we make no bones about it. J.C. Auto formed in mid 2001 in Ennis MT, which in case you're wondering makes the middle of nowhere look like Metropolis. After religiously rehearsing 3 nights a week for 6 months (I mean, what else did we have to do?) we played our first gig in January 2002 and haven't looked back since. For two years we played numerous gigs with numerous bands in numerous places across the state. Also came the release of the first EP, Life Goes Calling, and full length LP, Le Diable Probablement...and live album Safe and Sound (limited edition signed and numbered 100 copies). Then in 2004, co-founding guitar player, Tim, moved on. While he will always be a part of J.C. Auto, we had to move on too. We played as a 3 piece for a year until finally finding the right feet to fit those shoes: and that was the addition of Ryan -former frontman of Brimmer. The combination of Ryan's blistering guitars and enthusiasm on stage, Tracy's rapid fire blur of arms (she hits harder than most boys out there), James' poetically blunt song writing made J.C. Auto a full plate again. To tide our fans over, a 17 song live CD entitled, Matches & Gasoline, was released in February of 2006. We will be on tour in support of our new release, A Global Warning. So if you see us on the road, come check us out we won't disappoint! Bands that we have played with: Lawrence Arms, Long Beach Dub Short Bus (featuring members of Sublime), Taking Back Sunday, 3% Rhino, Metal Church, Blood Factor 5 (featuring ex-members of Me First, Disappointments, Screw 32), SoundFix, Sixer, Moral Crux, Smash Division, Alabama Thunder Pussy (featuring ex-members of Avail), Joan Jett, Chad Channing (ex Nirvana), Sunder, A Wilhelm Scream, Break the Silence, 1090 Club, Divit, Sofa King Killer, 76 Charger, Reptile Dysfunction, Stockyard Stoics, The Soviettes, Los Companions, Warped Tour, Volumen, International Playboys, Even in Blackouts (featuring Jughead from Screeching Weasel), Uzi Suicide, Visqueen, The Sleeping, Royden, Ill Sauce, Moth, Touchers (and on and on and on......).
