Pink Purple features Kliph Scurlock and John Huff. RED was recorded in 2010 during winter break from the Flaming Lips’ Embryonic tour, entirely with analog synths and equipment from the Flaming Lips live tour. The band’s encyclopedic knowledge of classic British rock/prog/psych shine throughout the tracks, weaving together the history of progressive rock and that of the Flaming Lips.
Cover artwork by designer Dave Thomas (Mogwai,Vashti Bunyan). These recordings have never been released and will only be available for RSD. Will Include download with 3 bonus tracks.
